FAQ – Your First Pole/Aerial LessonIt’s completely normal to feel a little nervous before your first lesson! But don’t worry—you’ll be in a class with other beginners who likely feel the same way. Here’s some information to put your mind at ease and answer common questions before your first Pole or Aerial class.
1. Am I too old, unfit, or overweight to start?Not at all! We welcome students 16 years and older with no upper age limit. Our classes are designed for people of all shapes, sizes, and fitness levels. Every exercise can be adapted to suit your abilities. While the tricks may look challenging, each move is based on technique, which we’ll guide you through step by step. Many students are amazed by what they can achieve by the end of their first course!
2. I’m unsure if I want to commit to a class.Why not give it a try? You don’t have to commit to a course--one-off lessons are available, so you can see if it’s right for you.

7. What happens if I need to cancel?We understand that life happens and you may need to cancel or reschedule. However, we have a 12-HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY.
If you don’t give at least 12 hours’ notice, you’ll be charged for the lesson. This is because we have limited spaces in each class, and without enough notice, we can’t fill your spot. Thank you for your understanding!

3. What happens in a Pole/Aerial class?Our classes are 1 hour long and include:
- A full warm-up and stretching session.
- Learning tricks, spins, climbs, and transitions on the pole or aerial apparatus.
- Strengthening and conditioning exercises to help you build the strength needed for more advanced moves as you progress.
- For Pole Classes:
- Shorts are best, as your skin grips the pole (fabric will make you slip).
- A sports top or vest is ideal.
- If you’re not comfortable wearing shorts at first, leggings are fine for the initial lessons.
- For Aerial Classes:
- Wear fitted gym wear that covers your legs (such as leggings).
- Avoid loose clothing, as it can get caught on the apparatus. Covering your skin also helps prevent burns during practice.
- Single Class: £11.50
- 4-Class Pack: £38 (saving £8!)
6. What are the benefits of Pole & Aerial?Pole and Aerial are excellent ways to get fit, with a range of benefits:
